This night shot was a four minute exposure of the barn gate.  I always thought the lights in the barn looked pretty cool, so I tried to replicate what I see with my camera.

Today I drove home for Thanksgiving Break.  We get the entire week off.  It’s a good thing too because I can sure use some time off from school!

I was at Smith Park this evening finishing up another photo assignment.  The weather was beautiful. It can be anything this time of year…

This photo isn’t really part of the assignment, but I couldn’t resist.  My room mate hollered out loud that his Windows Vista machine had blue screened, so I couldn’t resist the opportunity to make fun of it.

I just spent the last little while cleaning the bathroom for clean checks.  I know it’s lame, but I forgot to take a photo of something better today… So here it is!

This is my Friend Duston.  He is from the same place as I am from (Star Valley), and we go on motorbike rides together and are in the same major here at school.  I took this photo as we were on our way to go do some computer work.

Today was Monday.  And as is the case every Monday for the typical BYU-I student, Monday means FHE (family home evening).  This shot is of our FHE group meeting at our place.

Today we had Stake Conference in the Hart auditorium.  This photo was taken with my iPhone while waiting for it to start.

  • Time Lapse Video

On Saturday, 8th of November, I used my computer to make a time lapse movie of the front of my apartment.  Unfortunately the weather was pretty boring–rolling clouds and moving shadows would have been cool, but it still turned out all right.

  • Photography at the Teton Dam

Tonight I went to the Teton Dam to do some photography. Since I didn’t happen to go home to Star Valley this weekend, I decided to take some photos of the surrounding area.  Click “Read the rest of this entry”  for all of the photos.

The Teton Dam broke in 1976, destroying many homes in Eastern Idaho.  Rexburg, Idaho (where I go to school) has a museum dedicated to the event.  More information on the Teton Dam catastrophe can be found at Wikipedia

Today I went to the Teton Dam (what’s left of it) and took some photos.  This is an HDR of a most beautiful sunset.
